♦ William Thomas

Bill came to Marlow Marine with 25 years of business experience in the high tech computer industry where he started in customer service at 20 years old and worked his way up through sales and then to owning his own software company. He grew up sailing in Annapolis and fishing in the outer banks of North Carolina. Bill was the top-selling new boat salesperson at Marlow Marine within 24 months and was quickly promoted to New Boat Sales Manager. Bill’s customer service and sales background have made him a natural at owner orientation for all of our customers. In the last eight years, Bill has made it a point to get as much sea time on the boats as possible, taking boats to and from boat shows, picking up new boats at the port, and going on trips with customers as part of the training. If you don’t find Bill in the office, he is probably on a boat learning something new.

Eric Gervais

♦ Eric A. Gervais

In his youth, Eric developed a strong love and respect for everything yachting, having explored many Rivers, Lakes and Oceans while growing up in Coastal New England, Florida and then purposefully in the Military. During High School, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (delayed entry program) to serve his country and further EXPLORE the WORLD! Earning a meritorious NCO promotion early in his law enforcement based military career; he seized the opportunity for extensive travel abroad with the Marine Security Guard Program (a “joint venture” between the Marine Corps and U.S. State Department that provides special operations and internal security at American Embassies and other locations abroad). With extended tours in Japan, Denmark and El Salvador, he has traveled to over 30 countries resulting in a well-rounded “toolbox”.

After the Marine Corps and College, Eric worked as a successful Financial Advisor before following his dreams into the yachting industry. As the owner of Coastal Yacht Services, LLC. and Coastal Yacht Maintenance, LLC. Eric has unquestionably enjoyed going back to his “Yachting Roots”. He was asked to join “Team Marlow” in 2009 as one of the preferred subcontractors in the Marlow Service Yard and by 2011 he expanded his client services to become the First Class Yacht Broker at Marlow Marine Sales, Inc. with a “client for life approach”.  Eric has a priceless understanding of the variations between Yachts that make them all so different, things like the ride and handling characteristics, quality of construction, fit and finish and the capability to complete your intended mission. These are all very important points to consider when making a large investment in a Yacht so who better to have on your team?

Over the years Eric has continued to build valuable marine industry experience with a constant desire to learn and do more, he has logged untold nautical miles as the delivery and training Captain for many satisfied clients, all of whom he has supported through the purchase, sale,  survey and delivery process. Since 2011 he has assisted in the purchase or sale of over thirty different brands of yachts (ranging in size from 25’- 140’) AND logged thousands of nautical miles aboard many different yachts (ranging in size from 37’- 140’) and therefore knows from firsthand experience, the additional features and benefits of a well thought out and quality built Marlow yacht! He is one of a select few that operates Marlow Yachts for new boat off-loads, boat show move in/out and during the client delivery and yacht orientation process. You will be hard pressed to find a better candidate to assist you with your Yachting needs, whatever your mission may be.

♦ Jack Bostock

Jack brings a very diverse and unique background to Marlow Marine. Jack A. Bostock was born a 7th generation circus performer. His family came to the United States as performers with Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus in the early 1950’s from Europe. As a young boy, Jack walked the tight rope and flew on the Flying Trapeze all over the U.S. until his family settled in Sarasota, Florida, the circus capital of the world! There, he found his first lifelong passion and began training in martial arts. He became a very accomplished competitor and has been a State champion, Jr Olympic Champion, and an SR National Champion. He has been a martial artist for the last 27 years, and for the last 22 of those years, along with his family, they have run the largest Martial Arts Academies in Manatee County. After achieving success in all areas of his life, Jack was ready for a new adventure, and that is what lead him to Marlow Marine, a place where Quality, Cooperation, and Innovation mean something. He was fortunate enough to already have close relations with a few of the top brokers at Marlow and welcomed the opportunity to join the Marlow Team. At Marlow Marine, Jack has been soaking up the knowledge around him like a sponge, using the same work ethic and attention to detail honed as a martial artist with a goal of becoming an amazing yacht salesman. Jack is proving to be a valued asset at Marlow with his energy, drive, determination, and his Bi-lingual background.

Matt McHugh

♦ Matt McHugh

Matt is a native Floridian, born and raised in Sarasota. Being born into a family of educators, Matt spent 20 years in that field. After graduating from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, he took the position of business manager at a private school where he spent 15 years handling all the financial responsibilities, marketing, PR, HR, and sales for prospective families. After 15 years in the private sector of education, he then co-founded and assisted in the application process and implementation of a public charter school where he spent his next six years helping to grow that school in many of the same capacities. However, growing up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, he has always had a love and appreciation for the water and boating lifestyle. When he was presented with the opportunity to join the well-respected team at Marlow Marine, it seemed like a perfect fit. When Matt is not at work, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and two children, typically somewhere on, in, or near the water. He looks forward to meeting you and helping you with any of your boating needs, whether it’s a new build, or assisting with a brokerage deal.

♦ RuthAnn Tucker

My love for the water and passion for boating began early in life on Lake Erie in Erie, Pennsylvania, where I spent most summers crewing and cruising the Great Lakes. After moving to Florida in the late '90s, my husband, daughter, and I spent most of our free time on our center console and flats boats enjoying fly fishing, competitive spearfishing, and diving all of Florida from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic. In 2006, I moved with my family to Bilbao, Spain, where we had a marvelous 13 years on the Bay of Biscay and the Mediterranean off the coast of Valencia, Spain. I am very proud and honored to be a part of the Marlow sales team representing the most outstanding cruising vessels on the water today. I bring to you my enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion, including a long and successful career of entrepreneurial ventures, high-level sales, and customer satisfaction expertise plus vast design knowledge to assist you with the highest integrity. I welcome the opportunity to be a part of your journey and develop a relationship that will stand the test of time.

Jeff Saplis

♦ Jeff Saplis

Born in Michigan, Jeff's love of the water started at an early age when his father would take Jeff and his brother fishing on the lakes in Michigan on the family boat. He was bitten by the boating bug and has never looked back. As a young man, he ventured into the restaurant business that evolved into a 30-year career, in which Jeff and his partner designed, built, owned, and operated what would become a successful chain of restaurants in multiple states and the Caribbean. His boating days were spent actively racing sailboats competing in everything from the Chicago Mackinaw race 6 times to Key West Race week and SORC over a dozen times, along with being the crew chief for a 2 time Rolex champion in the St. Thomas Rolex Regatta. His love for sailing took Jeff and his wife Anna of 30 years to the Caribbean for many cruising vacations. The cruising area was so enjoyable; they have maintained a home in St. Thomas for the past 25 years. The British Virgin Islands are a great backyard cruising ground. Jeff is an active member of the St Thomas Yacht Club. If you are thinking of heading South or throughout the Caribbean, please feel free to contact Jeff. He has a tremendous amount of local knowledge to assist you on your trip. Jeff is the founder of Quiet Angel Foundation, a 501 3C non-profit focusing on the health and well-being of the youth of our country. He is also a big supporter of the Make A Wish Foundation. His hobbies include hosting social gatherings to showcase his passion for cooking and fine red wine, listening to music, and of course, anything boating. After following Marlow for many years, Jeff became a proud Marlow owner by building a 58E. He was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the boat; he approached David and Michael, requesting to be considered as a member of the dynamic sales team. Jeff looks forward to helping you design and build, or acquire your Marlow Explorer.

Safe travels and calm seas
